How to study for exams in college

 Deep understanding and strong recall techniques when used well one can pass college exams easily.

  1. Create a plan –  Break down  your revision  into small sizable  chunks over several days, using a technique like the Pomodoro Technique 25 minutes of work followed by a 5-minute break. This prevents burnouts and helps you maintain focus for productivity.
  2. Personal test: Close your notes and quiz yourself using flashcards or Practice Tests. At a personal level  create a concise Study Sheet of key formulas and terms to force summarization.
  3. Productive study sessions –  Focus on the “why” and “how” of a topic. An excellent way to verify this is to Explain Concepts to someone else to test your recall ability.
  4. Work on your body: Treat sleep as a vital part of your preparation, as it consolidates memory. Take care of your body with healthy snacks and Movement Breaks.
